Adipotide ftpp

Adipotide, also known as FTPP, is a peptide developed as a research compound to combat obesity through a unique mechanism of action. Unlike traditional agents, it targets the blood supply to white adipose tissue, inducing apoptosis or programmed cell death, thus reducing fat mass. While initial studies in obese monkeys showed promise, concerns over safety and long-term effects have delayed its therapeutic use, necessitating further research.
